• How will this work?
  • Students doing a vocal audition for female-identifying roles:
    • You will need to sing “We’re in the money.”  This selection does not need to be memorized.
      In addition, you will choose either 42nd Street OR Shuffle off to buffalo.  This selection needs to be memorized.
  • Students doing a vocal audition for male-identifying roles:
    • You will need to sing both “Shuffle off to Buffalo” and “Dames.”

      Only one of these will need to be memorized.

Dancing:

  • This is a good video to have both the music and a model of the moves all in one.
• Audition Combo Detailed Steps ~ No Music
  • This is a good video to start with for those of you who want to do the full steps.  Start slowly and then work towards the audition combo with music.  Use this to reference the steps (not necessarily the rhythms).
• Audition Combo Simple Version of  Steps with Music
  • For those of you who are struggling with tap, this is a great video for the steps in their simplest form.  Practice this and audition with these steps.

December Rehearsals: 

• Monday – Friday from 3:45 – 6:30 (or before)
• Saturdays from 9:00 AM-1:00PM
• Please note ~ you only attend rehearsals when you are called.
